SPRING TURKEY HUNTS AT T&C WILDLIFE

With the explosion of the wild turkey population in Kansas over the last 20 years, we at T & C Wildlife feel that it is definitely a great time to be a turkey hunter.

Whether you're a beginner or a veteran, we have the perfect situation and accommodations to help you bag that trophy gobbler. Come to T & C and hunt the easternwild turkey on over 6,500 acres of unbelievable property nestled into a fertile area of SE Kansas. With the addition of dozens of food plots containing soybeans, corn, milo, clover, chufa, alfalfa and native grasses, our birds grow very large. Several toms in . excess of 25 lbs. are taken at T & C each spring. With native habitat that favors the turkey including large stands of oak and hickory timber, streams, CRP fields, rolling limestone hills and green pastures, our turkeys have access to the best roosting, loafing and nesting sites in the area. This makes for an exciting hunt with lots of birds.

We include in our turkey packages all meals, lodging, unlimited beverages, transportation to and from hunting sites and bird cleaning. Fully guided and semi guided hunts are available. Success rates were 95% in 2008 with several multiple bearded birds harvested.

Most hunting is done in and around feed fields and along creek bottoms. Hunters will be assigned areas where no one else is hunting; this is to ensure safety and success.
